Get Ripped Foods
To get ripped, you need to build muscle and lose fat. However, it’s entirely possible that you have that muscle, but it’s simply not evident.
Lowering your percentage of body fat will reveal that muscle you already have. Having the best diet will account for most of the fat loss you encounter.
Prior to entering into the get ripped foods that will help you most, figure out how to get ripped with these foods in general.
Insulin is released when carbs enter your body in any way. With insulin, your body will be able to absorb amino acids and glycogen into the muscles, but extra calories will be stored as fat. When your body is releases insulin, it also releases another hormone called ‘somatostatin’. Somatostatin inhibits HGH from being produced in your body.
HGH stands for Human Growth Hormone. This hormone is an important factor in getting ripped, it helps you build muscle and burn fat. Perhaps the worst thing you can do prior to or following a workout is to eat carbs, as it will work against your efforts to lose fat.
The get ripped foods either contain very little carbs, or no carbs at all. When you stop eating carbs, your body will run out of carbs to burn for energy. That energy will then start to come from protein and fat. At this time, your body will also release hormones that have the ability to break down stored fat to use as energy. This process is known as “ketosis” and it’s what makes you lose fat, fast.
People often complain about having low energy once they cut out carbs of their diet. Well, they still need to take in calories. There are other ways to take in calories without carbs. High fat foots will actually help you do this.
The best get ripped foods have a lot of fat and protein, but not many carbs. Get ripped foods can include pork, beef, and other kinds of red meat. Other great sources of protein and fat are eggs, chicken, and fish.
A lot of people really believe in the idea of eating raw eggs. It sounds disgusting, but if you add a raw egg to your protein shake and blend it up well, you probably won’t even see or taste it. Compared to cooked eggs, it is far healthier for you to eat raw eggs. It would not be prudent for me to go over why right here, but I have a bodybuilding food article that covers this.
You should also maintain your health with vegetables that are rich in nutrients. You should have lots of mushrooms, green beans, celery, and the like. However, try to skip over potatoes, as it contains carbs in the form of starch.
If you’re doing resistance training, your muscles need still need glycogen to recover properly and prevent deterioration. One the day that you are not working out you should try to consume some healthy carbs. This restores your muscle’s glycogen reserves. Weekends are usually perfect for this particular activity.
